Sources of Inspiration
Suisun Valley, in the San Francisco North Bay, has many places to explore. Driving up a winding road yields a beautiful view of the valley. Wineries, barns and fences dot the landscape. The scenery changes with the seasons providing a range of colors for painting. Barbara and her artist friend find a location, set up their easels, and often meet friendly people on their adventures. Painting is a way to relax and really enjoy the surrounding countryside.
Bolinas, north of San Francisco on the coast, is another favorite place for painting. Cool air, sea breezes, ocean views and beautiful gardens provide an inspiring location for creative expression. Travel to other areas, such as Mammoth Lakes, provides additional opportunities for painting.
